Love does not hurt. Codependancy, lust and unrequited love hurts.
Now on the suposition that transformation is not bed of roses it actually is but has lots of thorns. You will have to face giving up some things that you enjoy but are not good for you. That is always hard but the reward is you are happier, healthier and wholer in the long run.

ALL COMMANDMENTS HANG ON LOVE

THERE IS AGAPE LOVE [ or Godly love and christian or Christ like love. ].
THERE IS AROS LOVE [ as Cupids little arrows or solemate love ].
THERE IS FRIENDSHIP LOVE [ as best friend is same as a brother or sister as is family].
