To me, he MAY have a bit of insecurities. He is putting up a bit of a protective wall around you. He may have a bit or jealously. It could be around guys and even girls. He may not want the attention off him either and doesn't want you to forget that he is there either. It is a common thing that guys AND even girls do. You can sit down and talk to him and just see why he may do it, or you can even just nicely let him know you are kind of bothered about it and you can reassure him that he has nothing to worry about. IF that is even the feeling he is having, but I can guarantee that is what is up.

BE AWARE!! Maybe you bf is too proud or wants to show everyone you're his. Guys can sometimes be like that. But if its bothering I have two words for you: TELL HIM!
It's ok for a guy to like being with you but when he starts being pushy and a show off with you, there may be something bad about him.

Because he wants to let them know that you are his. And if it is guys then he's teasing them because your his. If that's not the case then he really wants you because your his. I know I'm repeating my self but see it as what he is thinking when your around him!!!
I don't want to make it feel like your materialistic but most men see women as property and I hope that is not the case for you.
If you don't like to be touched (lovey dovie) let him know that you feel uncomfortable he should understand and then he might just do it to piss you off and he likes to see you get upset. Don't ask me why that is but good luck and have fun!!!!!!!

He's protective. It's a man thing. Ask him to not be so aggressive, and touchy. If he doesn't, show him the door.

Maybe he is in-secured also maybe he is jealous. Maybe is the way you act around your friends?? or maybe he don't trust you, or maybe he just want to impress your friends...you know there always can be a maybe.
