Eat breakfast like a King, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.

If you skip an ocassional meal it's no big deal The body will adjust. However, if you do it all the time you will slow your metabolism.

Ok, about what time to eat dinner. A new study suggest that the body works on a 36 hour metabolism clock and according to the new study, they did not notice any differance whether someone ate dinner at 5 PM or 11 PM. They found that the calories that did not burn up before they went to bed burned up in the morning before breakfast. The study also found that it might be better to eat a late dinner so that your body does not go in starvation mode while you sleep.

Well I've heard it's better to eat a large breakfast or lunch and a small dinner because most of your activity goes on early in the day and you burn those calories off.
Breakfast gets your metabolism started so it's good to at least eat SOMEthing like a granola bar or piece of fruit in the morning.
Skipping a meal like dinner will not, overall, make you lose weight. Depriving your body of food is not a healthy way of dieting.
Water can fill up hunger, yes, but i don't know much about that.
You should eat dinner by 5 or 6 - as early as possible really - so you have time to burn it off by the end of the day.

big breakfast
medium lunch
snack and smaller dinner

if you skipped breakfast you would end up really hungry and then overeat at lunch so that is not good. Get some nutrition bars or something for those mornings that you have to leave quickly

if you skip dinner you will probably lose weight, but be careful not to get too hungry and overeat right before bed.

drinking water does help a lot with hunger and lots and lots of other benefits too

I'd say dinner 3 hours before bed and if you must some type of veggies before bed

Hi

If you are trying to lose weight you should eat 400- 600 calorie meals twice a day, drink a glass of cold water before every meal and in between.
Skipping breakfast is NOT good for you as it is the MOST important meal of the day, it gives your body a good boost of energy.
Eat whole fresh foods, low in fat and sodium, fresh fruit and vegetables are best. Drinking a lot of water helps hydrate your body so you eat less. Walking 20- 30 minutes ,three times a day is good exercise.
Check with a doctor to determine if you need to lose weight before going on any diet program.

I like your question about size. I think the most important should be the biggest. You also digest food better the earlier you eat. I think smaller meals will generally generate the best results. With this said, breakfast needs to be the biggest meal because it is the most important meal and it will give you the most help managing your eating style. For example, if you eat a big breakfast in a healthy way, it will encourage smaller meals in a balanced way. Try to stick with fruit and veggies and protein and whatever your body needs to work well. Don't eat too much fat, sugar, caffeine, salt or burnt food. I hope this isn't too much moralist dribble for you. I really like food as long as it doesn't harm me or others.

Eat 4 meals a day, never go more than 4 hrs without eating something, always leave 2,5 hrs between eating, drink plenty of water but don't skip food, size of meal should be--stop when you have still some room left-- no need to count calories, eat fruit on its own, if you skip meals your body goes on starvation mode and you can put on weight

What sizes should each be compared to each other?

Invest in one visit with a nurtrionist. You will be amazed at portion sizes. They can answer every question, but its worth it alone to see the portion sizes. They'll also show you what exactly 5 pounds of fat looks like.Leaves an impression.
You'll be glad if you did.
