Have studies been done to explain if the creative side of the brain creates a spiritual lifestyle?

I'm not sure if it was the left brain, anyways, I admit I don't have all the answer. Trying to learn here.

I was quite intrigued by this question prompting a search of all the key words relative to it.I surprisingly found nothing. It's a very interesting concept though.I'm sure if clinical tests were or are conducted there would be a pronounced difference between left and right brainers.I say this because so much of religion has no basis in logic. Most of the texts you'll read contain fanciful stories of things that could not possibly happen. Not to say they have NO basis in truth but some exerpts are simply preposterous.Creative thinking will find ways to justify them while logical thinking will be skeptical.Sorry, all I can offer is opinion.I find my spirit based on logic but have played guitar for 22 years and participated in other art forms. That would almost contradict the theory except people often make fun of me because I tend to be irritatingly logical most of the time.Making me somewhat of both.
Edit:Spirituality is both a state of mind and being. The only way to truly answer this question would be through EEG and PET scan readings.I still can't find any evidence of this particular experiment being conducted anywhere.Love the idea though.

Interesting concept. I may tend to agree with this idea, but I don't think they have actually done any studies. If you attend any large seminars on new age mental health and holistic healing, you will find alot of very creative, intellegent and well educated individuals. Mind, Body and Spirit.... ; )

i think whats more important is having both sides of the brain working in balance
exercising all .. that you open up more to both the spiritual and the physical aspects of life

No one has ever measured the right brain for creativity

No idea. However, I wouldn't be surprised, even though I am a reasonably creative atheist.

No. It's about connectivity within the brain.
