this is my last child and i am just so torn.

Since godparents are responsible for the spiritual guidance of the child, if you have one brother who is more religious, or likely to follow through with his responsibilities, then I would ask that one. If you have more children later, they can have different godparents you know. It doesn't even have to be a relative of yours. In actuality, it probably won't make that much difference,cuz there isn't much "real" work to be done to be a godparaent. It's really more of a title than anything else.

Of course ask them both, there are no official rules. Think of it this way: Your child will be extra lucky to have 2 godfathers. why risk offending one of them, it's not worth it. The harmony of your family is definitely more important.

properly i grow to be interior the same predicument, I had to chooose between to best associates, yet i did not decide on. My spouse chosen the godmother yet ran around asking the same undertaking & eveeryone instructed me its superb. i'm not sure related to the rule for being cathilic tho....... Congrats on the toddler
