Well it depends on the situation. I've learned through my years that it's sometimes I'm wrong and sometimes she's wrong. Even though I'm 22 she still can get under my skin.
And no it's not always true, that u can understand your mother better when u get older. It depends on 1. you 2. your mother and 3. the situation.

No. you should try to talk to her about what ever it is you do not understand. I could not stand my mother and now i no longer talk to her at all. i don't think that you would want that. She is your mother and there might be things that she can not deal with about you. You may never be able to understand her. that's OK. but you are not wrong, at least i do not think so.

How old are you? How old is your mum? If your mum is going through menopause then you must understand her. Change in a woman make others life bad. She cannot help what's happening in her. She need special advise and get help from your family doctor. It is wise that you also understand and learn about it now. It will you later in life. menopause can happen at any age. You can learn about this in google.

My stepmother and I don't get along! It is very rare if we do!! My mom I get along with well! It takes patience to get along with someone!!
