why would you not want to believe in a God that would love you without questions, rather than believing that this crazy place we live in now is all there is for us.

because he values being worshiped over good behavior.
I've had Christians confirm this:
if mother Teresa wasn't "saved", she's in hell.
conversely, if Charles Manson becomes saved, he'll go to heaven.

if the above is true, then god is a sociopathic narciscist, and I want nothing to do with someone like that.

you either believe or you don't. I'd LIKE to believe in faeries, but no matter how much I think it'd be nice if they existed, I can't make myself believe in something my mind will not accept.

There is no evidence from the Christian Bible of a God of unconditional love. His "love" is dripping with conditions and monstrous punishment for those who don't flatter him the way he likes to be flattered. So I suppose it would be nice to be loved without question by an all-powerful being, but that is not the god of Judaism, Christianity or Islam, never has been, and if you think it is, you haven't read your Bible very closely.

Yes I agree, I have known the Saviour for 37 years now and proved Him to be faithful and true. There is not much faithfulness and truth left in the world except about Him

Because there is no proof, and why your saviour, why your god? We are all saviours, we must save ourselves.

"By oneself is evil done; by oneself is one defiled. By oneself is evil left undone; by oneself is one made pure. Purity and impurity depended on oneself; no one can purify another"

"When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours"
