Even though... sometimes... they're ugly, broke and smelly...
Some of them doesn't even have the future... look at Jerry Springer, but because of their high confidence... they could get 3-4 women at the same time...
Why is that?
It's just a mind boggling question...

Why do you still like them if they turn out to be a loser or you already know they're no good to begin with...
The only good thing about them is that they have the confidence that nobody else have...

I was trying to point out the participants in Jerry Springer show... :) that shows "no good" men with multiple girls...

because when a guy is confident in himself it's usually for a good reason, meaning he can "back it up". in other words, he's good in bed.

Okay, don't use Jerry Springer as an example, the women he attracts are much like him trash, very sleazy and skanky, look at all the things they do. He is no role model, (I know you know) He wouldn't attract women that are worthwhile, that's for sure just sleaze bags, vulgar, and low types. that's what he is all about!!
So don't let that bother you, nor fool you. He is nasty!! (I know it's just an example)
Women like men with great personalities, are intellectually stimulating, have an interesting conversation and more than anything are yes interesting and self assured that over takes looks any day, and I'd take a guy like that any day . Self confidence and being very sure of yourself, knowing how to be a great conversationalist, makes a huge difference, it's good to take seminars and work on getting certain skills, well mannered people are really the nicest and best highlight any time, any where!!

I like confident men. Something about confidence and masculinity go hand and hand. Like it or not, all women are looking for a real man to protect them. This is one of the basic laws of nature so even if you're an independent, self-supporting, strong woman, it is what it is. Men who exude confidence seem like they will protect and take care of us, so we are naturally attracted to them.
But on the other hand, if he's ugly, broke and smelly I won't give him a second look. As I said, women want a man that can take care of them. Someone who is broke, and has bad hygiene cannot do this. Look at the Lion and the Lioness. If he exudes confidence, the Lioness may wants to mate with him, but not if his mane is all straggly and he's missing some teeth and his left paw looks like it got hit by a Mack truck.
As for Mr. Springer, I'm sure it's a combination of confidence, money and fame that get women to adore him. But I'm sure not one of them. If I know he's a broke down loser from the beginning, confidence is not enough to get me to date him. If he seems like Prince Charming in the beginning but turns out to be a bum, I love myself too much to stay with him. Confidence is important....but it's definitely not everything. Some women want a man so badly that they will date the loser just so they won't have to be alone anymore. I know is amazing that people subject themselves to staying with these creeps with confidence, but you'd be surprised how many men and women are too insecure to not be in a relationship, even if it means settling for pseudo-love.
Oh now I understand what you mean by mentioning Springer. All those people are worthless pieces of trash so they settle for whatever piece they can get. They shouldn't even be used to justify women dating men with confidence because in my opinion, the women on that show aren't a good example of what a lady is and the men make me think about becoming a lesbian.

if their confident it doesn't matter what they look like because the girl will notice him. like if the girl is sitting on the bus and a cute guy is getting teased and he breaks down and just looks down he suddenly becomes unattractive. but if a normal guy gets teased by the same people and he just looks ahead and laughs with them then he suddenly he's awesome. so yeah i hoped that helped.

because we hate having to constantly reassure our partner that he's "good enough" for us. I can't stand really cocky guys, but I don't want to have to hold my man each night and tell him he's not a loser while he's drowning his tears in a can of beer. lol
