i guess you are talking about passing gas. it happens sometimes. not sure if it's the food or just a natural bodily function. buy a can of spray.

Yep you hit the nail right on the head, problem is just about all nine lives canned foods will do the same. you might want to try some dry cat food, buy a small bag or box and see if roy will eat it.

9 Lives used to give my one cat reaalllllly bad gas!! I feed them fancy feast, although it is not 100% effective!! Picked up my one little guy and you could actually HEAR the little one he ripped off!!! And the other one just left the room a few minutes ago - and then we went running out of the room!!! I had been giving them this new dry food that has dried fruits and vegetables in it - they throw up the fruits and vegetables and get bad gas from the rest of it. Good luck!!

lol - used to know a cat nicknamed Farton (his name was Barton). some do it more than others! It usually indicates a problem with the food, or possibly worms. If it's worms, the vet has a magic pill for that, and it's usually under 10 bucks.

Probably the liver in the food. Try another maybe chicken. I know with mine if they eat fish, they smell worse.

Nine lives is a really crappy (pun intended) cat food. Really poor quality ingredients that aren't digestible by your cat, hence the gas.
