100' from front to back, not sid to side. The plane did not sideswipe the building.
Why were the engines of the plane missing
Several small prices were found. many lagre enough to identify as engine parts. Just because the engines did not remain intact, doesn't mean they were missing.
Why did the towers fall at the speed of gravity?
Gravity is not a speed. It is a force that causes abjects to accelerate toward the ground. What other 'speed' should an object fall at?

Yeah, there are a LOT of loose ends associated with 9/11. If it was a conspiracy, would you think the government would just fess up? I mean, could you imagine dubya in front of a podium going, "well, we actually planned the whole thing. We're sorry about the lives lost, even though we haven't captured Osama."
Nowadays it's just easier to proliferate conspiracy theories than ever before. Not that they will be confirmed or debunked anytime soon.
I was at Ground Zero last week for the anniversary of 9/11. I was handed the DVD of Loose Change. I watched it with an open mind. I wouldn't say that I'm a conspiracy nut, but I definitely have questions which will probably remain unanswered.

No plane, therefore no engines.
