to conjunctionize why are there so many treatments with no known method of action for these many diseases??

Because the drug companys want to keep us ill, so they can sell more drugs.

Because unfortunalty as with everything else in life diseases change too. Also we are discovering many new diseases which were previously put down to mysteries. With many infections they change to adapt to the treatments we use to treat them. We have come a long way in our quest to cure disease, however there is still much to learn. Disease will always be with us, we can try to avoid it by being healthy and happy and seeking help when we need it.
