Possibly the people who equate humanism - which basically means being decent to each other - with worshipping Satan, supposedly the source of all evil. How much more twisted can you get, than that?

that's pretty scary. Who did such a thing? Is it just because of the letters "satan" being in "santa"? If so, you could say that about all saints, since santa = saint in Spanish.

I think it's a reach and tells you someone sees just what the want to see in the most innocent of stories and legends.

the two are nothing alike. There was a real St.Nick at one time and he did deliver toys to the kids but he most defiantly didn't fly around on a sled. God Bless
