I can only make a very compelling argument against the existence of Santa Claus as the popular market knows him.
No proof, because it's impossible to document every human being on earth and determine whether or not there is a Santa Claus among them!

Let me see: There is this jolly fat man who flys through the sky pulled by 8 tiny reindeer. This sled is magical and flys. He is fat but he goes down chimneys. Even if the have a fire place insert. The bad thing is he knows if children have been bad or good.
Only god knows if children are good or bad. Most rich kids get lots of presents and they are usually spoiled and bratty. Poor kids get little or nothing no matter how they act.
So like a very selfish old man he caters to the rich.
The other reindeer where mean to Rudolf until he had a shinny nose and could lead them. So they were pretty selfish to.
Don't you think if someone really could fly he would make the 6 o clock news? This is a very selfish mythological creature who is a lie. Should we lie to little children to empress on them how selfish Santa Clause is? He will only bring you something if you are good and preferable rich? Besides this is supose to be the birthday of the sun god. That is why the evergreen tree.
Don't even think about telling me that is Jesus birthday.. Everyone knows better than that.

That all depends on how you define Santa Claus. If you define him as the person who brings children their Christmas presents then he doesn't exist, because I brought my children all their Christmas presents and I'm not Santa Claus. It's easy enough to define him loosely enough so that no-one can actually disprove him, or at least if anyone *does* disprove him, then you just change the definition again to plug that loophole. Kind of like what Christians do with their god, you know? ;-)

Yes I can disprove the existence of Santa Claus because if there were a Santa he would make sure poverty-striken children had the same type of Christmas that every other kid is fortunate enough to have. Also, reindeer are non-flying mammals.

It depends on how who you define as Santa Claus. From what I understand there is a historical figure in which Santa Claus was based off of.

Santa Claus is a variation of a European folk tale based on the historical figure Saint Nicholas, a bishop from Myra (present-day Turkey), who gave presents to the poor. His charity became legend when a man lost his fortune and found himself incapable of supporting his three daughters, who would not be able to find husbands as they lacked dowries. This man was going to give them over to a life of prostitution; however, St. Nicholas provided them with gold, enabling them to retain their virginal virtues and marry.

The legend of Santa Claus is based on the Vienese legend
of St Nicholas. Who by the way, had a companion named Krampus. An "evil" spirit.
Look it up.

first of all: unless u believe in magic, how is it possible for one man, 12 'reindeer' and a flying sleigh to go to every little kid's house in the WORLD in one night? (pr pretty much a whole day because of all the time zones)
second of all: i could tell it was my parents' writing on the notes from santa, and they admitted (i'm 14 btw) to me that all the gifts from 'santa' were from them.
third of all: if santa is real, how does the whole world know? did someone catch him in the act, squeeze his story out of him and spread it around? i don't think so.
