Do your immams and mullahs let you read about the Dead Sea Scrolls? I challenge you to take a gander at the Dead Sea Scrolls and still insist " the Bible was changed " to explain why Mohammad made so many mistakes retelling the stories from the Old Testament. Are the Dead Sea Scrolls just another Jewish conspiracy to oppress Islam? Could the Dead Sea Scrolls prove once and for all that Mohammad's MISTAKES are PROOF that the Koran is nothing more than the words of a plaigaristic false prophet??

The issue isnt whether the Bible is valid or not. The issue is whether or not the Bible has been changed or not. Muslims say it has been to explain why Mohammad's version of Old Testament stories are so different from those in the Old Testament itself. DUH!

When the translators of the King James Bible wrote the Old Testament, the oldest available manuscript for them to use was known as the Masoretic Text. This had been written in the 9th century A.D. It was this text that the translators based their work on the Old Testament.
In 1947, a shepherd boy discovered some pottery in caves in the area called Qumran, near the Dead Sea. In these jars, he discovered scrolls, which archaeologists and Bible scholars have researched ever since. Every book of the Old Testament (except Esther) was discovered. Most of these scrolls are dated to 150 B.C. After comparing these Dead Sea Scrolls to the Masoretic Text, the scholars discovered an amazing degree of unanimity between the two, although they were written a thousand years apart.
Further, the Septuagint (the Greek language translation of the Hebrew Bible) was also compared with it. With all of these references, there is plenty of evidence to prove that no biblical doctrine has been tampered with.
This flies in the face of what many (including Muslims) believe. If the Dead Sea Scrolls (and the Septuagint) are correct, then much of what the Qur'an contains is false.
And yet they, who have perverted the Bible (both Old and New Testaments), have the audacity to say, “As cited in Ibn Abbas: The apes are Jews, the people of the Sabbath; while the swine are the Christians, the infidels of the communion of Jesus.”
Since we can prove from the Dead Sea Scrolls that the "people of the Sabbath" are the Jews, and have been commanded by God to obey the Law found in the Old Testament, why do they say that the Jews are apes? It can only be because the Jews rejected Muhammad as "The Prophet" found in Deuteronomy 18.
Christians also believe that the Jews missed "The Prophet," because we believe Him to be Jesus of Nazareth. But we don't go around calling the Jews "apes," or anything vile like that. We simply share Christ with them, and leave it to them to decide on the evidence.
The God of Muhammad is not the Father of Jesus. The two are mutually exclusive concepts.

Funny logic. If we assume the scrolls to be genuine, then they must have been written around 1100 to 1500 BC. And Quran was revealed in 612 AD. So how the writer of an earlier religion could have passed judgment about a religion which has still not appeared at the horizon. Oh *yawn* there is more logicistical and factual evidence backing up the Qur'an then the "Dead scrolls" ever will.
We treat the Torah and the Bible with respect because we believe the word of God is still in there.
The bible/torah was changed so the pagans could continue their practices within the confines of that religion and to relax the original rules God gave.

To khaled, just because you live in Jordan, doesn't mean anything. I suppose you found the scrolls too huh? Even Mohammed thought he was dreaming or that a demon was visiting him. It was his little wife that told him his visions were from God. (I wonder how she knew) If anything, the Scrolls prove the Bible is true and not the Koran

Clearly you don't know what your talking about. I live in Jordan (the dead sea is in my country). I have a copy of the Dead Sea Scrolls. It actually proves that the holy Qura'an is genuine.
