yes, just dont have it on too high of a heat, or it will explode through the bottom.

Usually the fountain fondues just have smooth consistencies & more oil to make it look all pretty when it pours over the side.

But in the case of a cheese fondue, the cheese ought to be melted in a fondue pot. With a couple of dipping sticks your guests or family should be able to enjoy dipping their food in cheese.

Sure, but I would add a few more 'stretchers' to it, and spices.

And perhaps some fresh herbs etc.
