When I was eleven I used to be really skinny and had the shape of a stick. However when I went through adolescence, my body changed dramatically. My hips grew and so did my butt. As a result of this rapid growth spurt, I developed stretchmarks on my hips. I am 5'5 and weigh 122 lbs. Alot of my fat is on my hips and butt area. I have a flat stomach. I was wondering what would guys think of my body. I know that if I had a flat butt and no hips, I wouldn't have stretchmarks.
Additional Details
This is the only thing that concerns me about my appearance.

Trust me, a guy would not give it a second notice. There's too many other parts to look at and be distracted with. Don't worry about it.

Lots of men develop stretch marks too. I wouldn't worry so much about it. You're not overweight, and that's what usually matters to the men.
I had a growth spurt that left a few stretch marks on my body, and my husband's never mentioned he notices them.
Be yourself, love yourself -- that's beautiful.

Lavender: those streach marks will fade away just doing
dalliy excrosises jumping jacks, push-ups, running in place
sit-ups on floor streach far as you can by putting both legs apart
left to right 10 sec each then streach sides far as you can go
remember to keep abs and buttocks tight while doing crunches

Do the best with what you've got. If it's a big deal to prospective bf don't bother with him. Try some aloe and work it in real good and drink lots of water for your skin elasticity.

Don't worry about your stretchmarks you can give guys credit they often surprise us.you sound like you look really nice so guys probably won't notice.when you find the right guy he won;t care .you just relax and don't worry you'll soon see that it don't matter when it comes to matters of the heart.

If you have to worry about what he is thinking of you, then he might not be worth it-you should feel good about yourself no matter what other people think-if you are beautiful on the inside then you will be beautiful on the outside!

to quote shirley valentine, "aren't men full of ****?" she said that after the restaurateur got her into his boat and they took a cruise and he saw her naked, while they were making love, and she was shocked that he'd kissed her stretch marks. she commented about it, then he said some bs line about the stretch marks making her who she is, and that's when she looked back at the camera and delivered her classic line. i agree wholeheartedly. if your guy wants you, he's not gonna run away screaming if you have stretch marks. he just wants what's between your legs. hope this helped ya!!

They're like tattoos. Cool. Some African cultures create scars as decorations.

I think that you shouldn't worry too much about it. Nobody cares about stretchmarks & if they do they're superficial stuff. Be confident about your looks it's not what matters most :)
