i have this wierd black thing in my skin on my big toe and it hurts.. it like on the side of it... i think its from field hockey practice... but i dont know... i remeber getting last year... what do you think i should do??

It is clear that you want to say that you are afraid of it so much that prevents you be visited and maybe a biopsy taking is horrible to you for that you certainly worry about pathological report and then, so. But the best way is that you break this psychologically bad state of yourself and refer to dermatologist and then if you afraid of the consequences you can do not follow to hear the report of pathology. and in my experiences I has observed a numerous of these cases that lead to nothing with good result. Strenghen your will and once visit a specialist doctor to relieve this burdun and useless thought so that to see later that it was nothing.

It could be melanoma, which can spread and kill you if not checked out by a doctor in time. See a doctor! Go to google images and type in melanoma to see if that is what it looks like.

wow dont freak out when u read the melanoma and cyst answers. it will be ok the chances of those are so slim. it may be a blood blister or a callus. if you're on a team you most likely have a trainer so go see him/her.

You need to have it evaluated by a dermatologist,dont mess around! it could be something that needs urgent care.Better to be on the safe side and have it checked out.

Probably a cyst get it checked out and you may need to have it removed.
