I don't know how you would prove that the bones found actually belonged to Jesus. Even if you could, that would mean that you found the bones of person named Jesus. But many people do believe a person named Jesus lived, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the man was the son of God as far as a lot of people are concerned. But according to the Bible, he physically arose from the dead and ascended into heaven. So if you believe the Bible, his bones aren't on earth anyway. Hope you are having a good day.

No. I thought you were supposed to base your belief on faith. The fact there is no evidence (other than folklore written down 60 years after he was supposed to have lived by Josephus) should not be a concern to you. And we agnostics and atheists don't care.

But it would be fascinating to find bones glowing with a holy light, assuming it was not radioactive or simple luminescence. Who knows what new physics we might learn.

Assuming that, even though he supposedly took his bleeding, injured body with him to heaven, and that there was some way of testing the skeleton and showing it to be his,...it still does not explain the lack of written accts of him by first century historians and the lack of written accts of many events the book of Matthew claims happened during/directly after thew crucifixion
So, then there would be the problem of 'proving' any of the events the (quite) unreliable NT claims the figure of Jesus accomplished

I thought Jesus was supposed to have gone to heaven and taken his bones with him. Thus finding his bones would prove the bile to have lied again.

Jesus rose again on the 3rd day after his crucifixon and was resurrected to Heaven, therefore, there will be no bones.

Many of my Christian acquaintances have tried to tell me that Satan puts fossils into the ground to fool us, so could I regard Jesus's fossil as a joke too??

It's not that I don't believe that Jesus existed, it's that I think he was an amazing person who did great things, not the son of God. Everybody has different beliefs, if your faith in Christianity works for you, than that is what's right. Christianity does not work for me in the same way that my lifestyle may not work for you. Our differences can be a beautiful thing if we let them be.

(repent, huh?)

OK....we know we will never find the bones of Jesus, because the bible says he was resurrected and then ascended into heaven. Nothing left here on earth to fossilize. Read your bible, you will know the TRUTH!!

Thanks I needed that laugh, although I understand what you were trying to imply, but I could stop myself fast enough, sorry. Good attempt.
Jesus is bodily in heaven,
HE is not in a grave on earth.
LOL!
Every atheist knows this, prepare to get dumped on.
Maybe no one will be as mean as I am...again sorry.
