Let Me Make Myself Very Clear,
I Was Raised Judeo-Christian.
I Believe In The Risen Christ,
That He Was Born To A Virgen By The Holy Spirit.
That He Lived A Blameless Life
That He Healed The Sick And Cast Out Demons
That He Called Us Into Decipleship,
That He Carried The Burden Of The Cross And DIED For Our Sins,
That Three Days Later The Stone Over His Grave Door Was Rolled Away,
And He Had Risen.
That He Apeared Before Man, Proof He Lived Indeed.
He Is My Lord And Savior.
I Did Not Ask For You To Try And Disprove Him. Just Where You Stand In Belief Of Who He Is/Was.
Thanks

I am a Pagan and Witch.
I believe that Jesus the Christ was a real man. I believe he was a gifted and prophetic being. I also believe for those reasons he was murdered by a society that he did not fit into.
Blessings )O(

Just a man, so to speak. Kinda of like the scam artists of our day. Just think though for one minute. When it comes to the prophecies, how do we know he was a self fulfilling messiah??? I mean, it's coincidence that he was born in bethlaheim, but it was where Joseph was born right? So there goes one prophecy. And him being born of a virgin??? Yeah, right. That's about as real as a girl being a virgin by she's 16 these days. I look at the crucifixion. How do we know that he didn't have some arrangement with Luke, who was a doctor and wrote about Jesus, to pay off the guards to give him some kind of sleeping potion to make it seem he's dead or to crucify him in a way to not kill him and such. It just seems to me the story of Jesus has many many loopholes. Hope this shares a little insight to what I and many others believe.

Person who had a deep enlightenment experience (like the buddha) which showed him that he and everything were not these individuals in bodies. The experience can't be described and, because people identify with their bodies and psychological identity, the experience and its message will be misunderstood and changed. Jesus then came to tell people that the same experience is open to all of us, the people misunderstood him and his message, changed the message and crucified him. The message then became one that supported the ego thought system -- where individuality exists forever (e.g. as a soul) and where the deity and jesus both support the ego thought system (reward, judgement, sin, guilt, etc.).

It is my belief that Jesus was just a man who happened to be very important to the people of his time. So important in fact, that his very existence set about an unprecedented course of history.

Sorry your survey is loaded with Jesus being "Just a Man" (A Man would mean the ordinary people could understand) " just a man implies fake, not the son of god, not a prophet & not real"

I think He is real and He is God and He is the sinner's Savior.
I think He came to earth in love to save and I think He'll return to earth with strength and power and judgement, to restore.

As far as I can tell there is not a scrap of evidence outside Christianity itself that Jesus ever existed. If he did exist, he was just a man, and if he had views as described in the Bible, then he was contemptible, since he promised people eternal torture merely for failing to believe in his god.
