Yeah, I think the word saints just mean christians.

The opening of the Pauline Epistles are, "to the saints in Ephesus" and same with the others.

So, I guess I am a saint, how cool is that?

Some definitely did, but being devout isn't a criteria for Sainthood. Sainthood on earth has more to do with politics than it does with being devout or dying for ones faith. Cassie Bernall lead a devout life, had her faith tested, died a martyr, but won't get a Sainthood on earth.

Nope..ALL True Christians are SAINTS according to the Bible.

Being ""Sainted" is a CULT thing.

I think that they were more committed to Yahweh and are able to intercede with him when people pray to them.
