Could it be that the Bible talks about satan ? In my romanian translation of the Bible, the "destroyer" is translated with a capital word, meaning it's a name. Who could it be ? Many people have tried to state the satan isnt even present in the old testament, and that it was "invented" in the New. Could this be proof for the opposite ? We already know about lucifer and how he fell, but could this be more proof that satan is indeed in the Old Testament ?

It is not satan. It is speaking about "the Lord God" He was called "Angel of Death" or "destroyer" in some Bible versions.

Exodus 12:23 "For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.

Exodus 12:29 "Now it came about at midnight that the LORD struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of cattle."

Also see:
Exodus 11:4-5
4 Moses said, "Thus says the LORD, 'About midnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt,

5 and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of the Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the millstones; all the firstborn of the cattle as well".

Satan appears in Genesis 3: 1-4 where he temps eve to eat of the fruit and thus sin against god.
When God destroyed the Egytians. It was through a angel.
Most likely not Satan by this time he wasn't telling him what to do.
Satan had rebelled and was basically on his own at this time.
Job 1: tells about satan coming back and forth to the earth.
Jude 6 tells how they corrupted that ancient world.

Revelation 17:8:-
"The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction"

Rev 9:11:-
They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon [destroyer], and in Greek, Apollyon [destroyer]

Now Revelation 17:8 mentions the beast once was:-
Exodus 12:23
"When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down "

(Isaiah 54:16).
"See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to work havoc; "

Now the verse says now is not:-
appolyon has been locked up in the abyss since the old testament.

Now the verse says and will come up out of the Abyss:-
(Jeremiah 51:1-8).
This is what the LORD says: "See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyeragainst Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai. I will send foreigners to Babylon to winnow her and to devastate her land; they will oppose her on every side in the day of her disaster. Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army. They will fall down slain in Babylon, fatally wounded in her streets. For Israel and Judah have not been forsaken by their God, the LORD Almighty, though their land is full of guilt before the Holy One of Israel. "Flee from Babylon! Run for your lives! Do not be destroyed because of her sins. It is time for the Lord's vengeance; he will pay her what she deserves. Babylon was a gold cup in the Lord's hand; she made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore they have now gone mad. Babylon will suddenly fall and be broken

So looking at the destroyer is not satan as satan has not been locked up (was not) and then released (and will come out of the abyss).
This destroyer angel was used by God to do certian things and has been locked up again to be released on Gods command.

satan is explicitly mentioned in the old testament... and the "destroyer" is G-d (or an angel of G-d, depending on your perspective)

it is the angel of death. He was sent by God as one of the plagues that was on Egypt because of the Kings hardening of his heart by not letting the people go. God Bless
