America has unemployment, America has training programs, America has universities and colleges, Let's educate,& train American citizens then we can wipe out unemployment and will not require a "guest worker " program. Let's put Americans to work! Once the jobs are filled by Americans, The criminal trespassers will not have any incentive to show up.

Why does our President continue trying to blow smoke screens in people's eyes? We already have a guest worker program ... and we've had migrant farm workers for yonks ... there is no need to tinker with new immigration laws, the old ones already contain everything this administration is fidgeting around with ... unless of course they want to just change the laws and put more sweeteners in for the illegals ....
One thing is for sure ... business wants cheap year-round labor ... and they want the guest worker visa, since it's not in their interest to see their illegal workforce become citizens ... consequently, the "amnesty" which is held out like a carrot to the illegals will not come into fruition for a very long time, if ever ...
What business really wants is "disposable" illegals ... not new citizens ... once there is a downturn in the economy, you'll soon find that the illegals with or without a guest worker visa will be returned back home from whence they came ...

Yeah right let's see the CEO lined up in new york to pay 300.00 to an american to cut their grass when they are paying 30.00 today. Their kids won't do it would you if you had a beemer on your 16th birthday. Face it Americans Never did it. Slavery, Irish immigarnts,Chinese Immigrants, If they protected the borders the way they should have instead of stuffing their pockets with our tax money and made it easier for these people to flee their countries they would all be documented and paying taxes. And one more thing if I recall the first spanish workers I had ever seen were brought here by an American who paid them 20.00 a day to cut our throats. and the rest of america said too bad for us. Now it's eating you up because we found a wy to work with the problems nobody wanted to deal with. American laborers are weak we need fresh blood. Laorers need to come from the ghetto countries.

There is no one who wants the illegals out of this country more than I do. That said, I know that I have a difficult time finding base laborers when I need and want that kind of labor because the only ones around are by my guess, here illegally. The illegals are good workers and work for less but they ruin our culture and our societal safety nets.
They also have probubly put most low level wage earners in America out of business. I use to be able to find ditch diggers and folks to haul stuff away. No more ...unless I am willing to pay an illegal to do the work.
It is my estimation that the only way out of this mess our government and large corporations (plus we allowed it to happen), is to engage in a worker program that allows for a transition out of illegalism and into legalism. For everyone's benefit. Ours, theirs (and the so and so Industialist and their paid components in our Federal Government!)

Who benefits from guest workers? Big Business--that's who. Who does Bush support? Big Business.
Can you live on $5.25 an hour? Can you support even one more person on that? Nope. But Big Business says (as it reaps in billions in profit) that it can't afford to pay workers more than that. So Big Business wants cheap, illegal labor and Bush just goes right along with it...

Did you just pushed that red button that says "EASY" on it?
If it were only that simple..
Besides its not only the President, its Senators, Gov. even Congress that agrees with a Guest Worker Program.

He wants to keep his cheap ranch workers and he wants his butt buddies to keep their cheap landscapers, housekeepers and nannies. They don't realize there are plenty of American citizens that would like to have those jobs. All they have to do is give them a livable wage, not slave wages. It might cost them a little more but they would be helping the USA citizens, instead of giving a license to break our laws to illegal invaders.

We need it, because the reality is that 12 million of them are already here and they are stealing our SS numbers. We need a way to document these folks, so they stop that nonsense.
I want them all deported too, but logistically it's not possible. So let's work out a Guest Worker program that meshes up to NAFTA and is only for those people already in country.
The we have got to get busy closing our border with Mexico. Today...not tomorrow...
