my little jack russell was doing the same thing. I took her to the Vet. and he found she had an allergy......he gave her a shot and sent home some meds. for her to take each day, and also recommended benadryl in the morning and at bedtime. It has really worked for her........

could be hot spots , fleas or just plain ole dry skin , check him over for fleas and if not then you can get a shampoo with baking soda to deodorize and oatmeal to soothe the skin, most local pet stores will have this , for the hot spots there are sprays and gels one that i have found works great is called lipomed it is a gel that will soothe the skin , it can also be used on humans for mosquito bites and works great

Hot spot maybe.I had a dog that used to get them alot. The spot gets red and sore. Go to the vet, and just ask them.

this could be fleas or maybe ringworm but it could just be an itcy spot temporarily. you caould call your vet and tell them about it. they will find out what it is and you could get a creme or liquid treatment

probably a hot spot my jack russell gets two around her ears and will scratch unil l raw i put hydrocordisone cream on it and give him benedryl and it goes away....but if it isn't raw you can put gold bond powder on there it helps....but check for fleas toooo...
