Some one says that things happened differently than is reported in the papers or the TV news.
Immediately many powerful men who would have been involved in the incident, or the reporting, call the person with a different view "Weird, extreme, unpatriotic, a wacko, etc."
Then we are immediately supposed to discredit that person, no matter what their credentials, story, or proof, or our own suspicions...
Because if we believe them we would be "Weird, extreme, unpatriotic, wackos, etc."
Do I have that right (or left, maybe?)
Is that the way to be a good American?

Is free speech and independence that dead?

What would the Men on Mt Rushmore think of this?

That's exactly how it works. Just look at our legal system. The OJ trial should have been about OJ, but instead it became a trial about Mark Fuhrman to prove that since he was somehow rascist and lied about it, his testimony could therefore not be believed.

And of course the idiot jury bought it.

Don't believe everything you read or hear and you want have to worry about it.Nobody tells you what to believe unless you let them and why would anyone care if they are not accepted because they don't believe like another person everyone has a right to their own opinions(Its a free country)

Free speech and independence does not mean people can say and do what they want without consequence..it merely says they have the right to choose for themselves. Our founding fathers definitely understood there were consequences for our choices, and among those consequences...treason..which is rampant in this day and age was punishable by death!!!

U.S. is on the way to becoming a Taliban type Bible Nazi Christian state. South Dakota should have it's star on the American flag replaced by a coathanger.
If we don't take it back soon, we will lose all our freedoms unless your rich.
