I wouldn't say that we do. I have had the honor of knowing many strong godly men who relate to Jesus extremely well. But for the sake of inquiry, I do know that some men have performance or results driven views and when it comes to this area that isn't what Jesus taught. He didn't teach a religion of lists and rules to check off. He didn't teach a 'try harder' method. He taught about a love relationship with God. Women feel natural in relationships in general. Part of that is nature, part of that is nurture. Of course, all of this is wildly generalized. I hope that if you're asking this b/c you're having a hard time relating to Jesus that you'll seek out a good men's discipleship group. God bless.

I currently believe that statement does tend to generalize a bit; but I think I know what the asker is trying to ask. As a 'general rule'; (obviously there are exceptions, especially in the modern U.S. society) women tend to be more trusting than men; just as kids tend to trust their parents (right or wrong) when they are younger.

I think they do because of the feminine nature of the Church. She is the bride of Christ so I am not sure if guys know how to act around God it is kind of intimidating for a guy I think.
