Does anyone know a reasonable source? Perhaps someone makes them. It must be organic, never sprayed with ANYTHING!

CHECK EBAY. THERE ARE ALOT OF INEXPENSIVE BIRD STANDS THERE, BUT MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THE SHIPPING COSTS. THERE ARE ACTUALLY ALOT OF BIRD THINGS PERIOD ON EBAY. I HAVE BOUGHT VERY NICE CAGES FOR MY FLOCK AT A REASONABLE PRICE. I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, BUT IF THEY HAVE BIRD SHOWS OR FAIRS IN YOUR AREA THEY ARE ALSO GOOD SOURCES OF INEXPENSIVE BIRD TREES.
MAKING THEM IS THE CHEAPEST, BUT I'M NOT VERY GOOD AT THAT SO I LOOK FOR INEXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVES. IF YOU SUBSCRIBE TO BIRD TALK MAGAZINE THEY HAVE A CLASSIFIED SECTION IN THE BACK. GOOD LUCK!

Wayne of "Wayne's Parrot Stuff" in South Florida makes bottle brush play stands. I have 3 and they are tremendous! They are on casters and are built using Marine plywood, bottle brush wood and attractive Formica. the wood "Tree" configuration at the top has stainless steel eye hooks where you attach toys and they have food and water cups as well.
They are expensive as hell, but they last and they are sturdy and last a long, long time.
"Chippy The Pirate", a bird supply store in Fort Lauderdale is one of the few places that carries them.
If you are considering getting one, you might want to think about ordering one from them, or you might want to call them and see if they can help you in some other fashion.
If you would like assistance with this please do not hesitate to ask.
I've had mine for years and my parrots spend the majority of the day on them. I simply wouldn't be without them.
Good Luck.

well I have two birds all are Congo African greys and they are smarter than most human, I bought them one of the stands you're talking about and they don't like it. They love small toys and the best game for them is one of them Christmas bells the ball shaped metal one. they have a ball with that one. and you are going to enjoy watching your bird playing with that toy. Also they love small cartons like the small 5x3 juice boxes also the small round or circular shaped objects. Good luck and I'm glad that you are trying to bring some joy into the life of your bird

Welcome to the world of birds, everything is expensive. I would suggest building your own. That is what I do, it cuts down on costs, and is not such a disaster when they chew it up!
