yes I have been to a speed dating event I recommend you go to 8 minute dating event they are great you 4 dates and then you get an intermission to mix and mingle and then you get 4 more dates and then from there if someone finds you interesting they can e-mail you until your ready to go on a date the other ones were either rushed or I felt forced to particapate in lame games 8 minute one if you don;t find anyone your next time is free

I had always wanted to go speed dating but when I finally got the chance I was already in a relationship. I asked my BF if it was alright if I went just to see what it was like (I even asked him to come but he didnt) and went with one of my single friends. It was soooo much fun! Some times it was kind of akward. Before you go think of a few general questions you can ask so you dont just sit there in silence. Sometimes you will instantly hit it off with someone or you will think they are super creepy. I met a few guys that IF I had been single I might have been interested in but never really contacted them after that night. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely (if I was single) do it again! My single friend didn't meet anyone he ended up dating but did make a few friends.

Oh No!!........I would love to...but the sight of all those girls looking at you and asking all those questions and judging you...scares me..
I could go...but i'd need a couple of beers beforehand
