pretty important, alot of our beliefs and morals come from religion, so if they are too different it may get in the way later especially with children. Some people do make a sacrifice to join the other religion for thier spouse though

When you have the same religion, you know the two of you have the same morals, values, and traditions, and you can bring that into your home - embrace it and live it. You can raise your family this way, as well. With there being different religions, it will depend on how deep each partner is about his or her own, because decisions will have to be made on where and when to worship, which holidays to celebrate, how to raise children, etc.

It can be an issue if both parties are staunch about their religion especially when it comes to deciding which religion to raise the children in. I think it is a good idea to discuss the issue before the marriage rather than after..

It can be very important if either person believes that their life centers around their beliefs and their religious purpose. For example, if one person in the relationship believes it is important to attend religious services three times a week, while the other does not, this might be a source of conflict in the marriage that can't be resolved if both parties hold on to their beliefts.

If two people are married but believe in two different types of religion then the marriage is a failure! Odds are ones with God and ones with out, you cant mix evil and light that creates Luke warmness which is from the devil!

I don't see it as a big problem when it comes to marriage not unless you can't decide on which religion you two want to use to initially get married. Most parts in a relationship not everyone agrees with one another... So it shouldn't effect the relationship unless you two are constantly arguing at one another over who's religion is better and ect. But I wouldnt worry about it...

People are too governed by ancient history beliefs, and manipulating concepts. You should be governed by your soul, your spirituality. That means that you take the things you learn, from religion and see what matches with what your spirit feels is right. Then you use that to build a way of life to live by.

So religion shouldn't be an issue or problem, if you spirits are of Truth and Righteousness.

If both people love each other, they should either make a decision to include both religions in their ceremony or have a ceremony that is non-denominational.

My fiance and I are both of different religions and since his family is more religious than mine, we made the decision to do the ceremony in his religion.

i think it's very important especially when it comes to holidays and baby baptisms. if u can make it work then go ahead but personally i don't think people of different religions have to work too hard to make it work. especially when children are involved.

Depends on how religious the two of you are, and how religious the in-laws are, and finally, how different the two religion's views are.
