tell her that you are looking to date someone, but you're really shy, get her to talk you through how to ask her out (obviously she thinks its just hypothetical at this point)
At the end of the conversation, when the hard parts over - say to her "so if i said that to you, would you say yes?" Wait for her reply, then go from there...

If you really like her then you have to take the chance im afraid hun, but consider if it is worth losing the friendship for just incase that happens, but also think on this, are you just friends with her really in the hope that it may develop into something more?? If she is your friend then you are ok, you can talk to her normally, it isnt as if she is a stranger, remember that she may like you too but is waiting for you to make the first move. Good luck hunxxx
P.S is it going to be better if you dont do anything about it and then spend the whole time wondering???

best policy is sort of truth...tell her you like her but that you really respect the friendship hence you would never try anything on. however, you could then drop something in casually like "but if youre ever stuck for a date i just want you to know you can call on me anytime and i would be more than happy"...that way youve been casual and turned on the charm and flattered her without being creepy and laying on too much pressure. and youve maintained the friendship and left the ball in her court.

If you have any guts, you will go to this chick and tell her exactly how you feel and hopefully she feels the same way about you, You will never know unless you give it a chance, the worst that can happen is you get a no from her. But its a risk worth taking.
Good Luck!!

Try asking her to have lunch with you or go for a drink - something not too 'heavy' to start with and see how it goes. If you keep it cool at the start you can see how it goes!
Good luck!!

Just tell her how you feel. Honesty is the best policy. In any type of relationship you have to be friends first before anything.

dang man. you got yourself in a tight spot. i would suggest that you ask her out to lunch or something. be neutral about it being a date-date or just a friend-date. depending on how she acts can gve you clues. also, maybe she likes you, but is too shy as well. dont wait till its too late!

tell her that u like her and wait for her reaction, cause if she understeand that u like her i mean be with her she will show u a good reaction but if she don't she will think that u said that just because u care for her like youre sister.so u have to clear this things out so she will not misunderstood
