I had recently divorced (last May) and didn't want to settle for the first guy. He was also MIA for about 1 month during xmas, so I dated a couple of guys because I could not get in touch with him. He claims he had been in jail (I know what a loser) but he wasn't in for a full month. (I know that b/c I would callblock him or have my friends call him and he would answer) He's pissed that I dated other people yet for a long time in our r/s he would stand me up or not call for days. He doesn't do that anymore. What gives?

Oh and fyi, I pay for everything (about 95%). He is putting all of his money into his family's restaurant, but pays for almost nothing when we go out, or for that matter stay in.

I'm not really sure which guy your talking about being MIA, the x-husband or the boyfriend. Either way, having a boyfriend prior to an existing boyfriend is a null and void thing. If he can't handle it, it will never work for you. Move on, be happy, and find someone who really cares.

You guys never told each other that you were exclusive and that you won't see other people. I mean was he your boyfriend and that he admited to be so?
I know people who date more than one person because they don't want to settle down for the first person.

Tell him damn right you dated others guys while his *** was locked up, he keeps this crap up and you'll date more of them. No where is it written that you have to settle for him.
