Depending on the age of your dog, it is usually natural for training to "speak" to occur after the age of 6 months. First get your dog in the sitting position. Say the word "speak" while holding a piece of his/her favorite treat. Then do something to arouse the dog to speak. For me and my dog is was an action that caused him to speak. As soon as he spoke I gave him the treat. After a few time I did not have to do the "action" anymore, but merely give the command "speak" and then give the treat. Hope this helps!

You first have to figure out what makes your dog bark. A knock on the door, a door bell. When he does begin to bark tell your dog to speak and reward him with a treat. Do this a few times and before you know it he'll be doing it on command. Good luck.

try saying "SPEAK" every time you hear him/her barking. then, eventually, they may learn to associate the word "speak" with them barking!

kinda like sit and come etc...
