The hostess I used to work with at a restaurant would be a prime example. She looked like Natassia Kinski and was also interested in me at some point....but I never struck up a real conversation with her. Sigh..........

Wow, what is it about restaurant work? When I was a waitress WAY back in the 80's there used to be a cute British guy that was doing handyman work in the motel where the restaurant/bar I worked was located. We were always eyeing each other, and one night he actually got a guy to come over and ask me if I would go to dinner with him. I totally panicked and said something unintelligible. Then of course, I was too mortified to ever speak to him after that. So I think the rest of the time he was there, he thought I hated him. And then he moved back to England and I have never seen him since. Even though it's been almost 20 years, I'm still single and have a little fantasy that someday I might run into him again. But I would definitely change the way things happened if I could.

Nastassia Kinski, eh? Boy you must REALLY be hating yourself !!! :)
