Not sure how seriously you're asking this, a partnership should be strong enough to tolerate each others differences, likes and dislikes. Strictly speaking just changing your mind when there is nothing faulty with the product is not a legal right that you have, its a goodwill discretion that some shops operate but do not have to do. You could therefore preserve harmony with your partner by telling a little fib like you did try to change it but the shop refused because the product was not faulty and they were within their rights to refuse an exchange. Is your bluff stronger than their knowledge of the shops exchange policy.

Well, for a start, 'we can't "refund it" for you.'

That's for the seller to do ...and it depends on the shop and its policy - and whether you have the receipt for it.

Just because your 'partner' doesn't like it is not automatically a refunding reason, though often shops will allow it on the grounds of 'good customer relations.'

Personally, I'd refund you because I feel sorry for you - for the way you worded your question.

A bit of bad grammar there, but if it means what i think you mean, id tell him/her to shove it up there ***, relationships are about give and take and also tolerating each others choices will without being rude makes a happier life for both of you, i'd be happy for the fact you made the effort more than if i liked it or not!

it depends what it is... if it is going to be of some use, ie your going to wear it, or use it frequently then theres no need to seek a refund.
work out the value of your product by dividing the cost by the number of uses, eg a new pair of jeans may cost £40 but if you wear them 100 times then thats the equivalent of 4p per wear olr there abouts....

absoulutly not. I have things in our house of my husbands that I don't like, but i don't ask him to get rid of them.now if it was furniture or something of that sort. we would buy it together, no question. There are tings that my husband brings home for me and i might not think its the greatest, but i keep it, and put it out for him to see.Its a give and take thing, and you have to compramize.

Hell no, my money paid for it and it's staying right where it's at. If the partner doesn't like it, then don't look at it, they can wear a blindfold for all I care.
