Atheists/Agnostics/Free Thinkers... What do you do to help stem the ignorance of religion (specifically Christianity)? I always point out blatantly stupid religious remarks in public, especially when they can be easily defeated by reason (which is most of the time).

I do the same. I also contribute to freethinking organisations, and participate in local freethinker groups.

For every stupid remark a Christian makes, so does an Atheist and a non-believer. It is not fair to say which one is the most ignorant. Creation came from a supreme being and where there is good there is evil. Atheist don't know how to answer most questions about either. At least Christians have that answer and more. Good luck on your beliefs and maybe the ignorance on both parts will disappear.

This question isn't going to help anyone, its just going to instigate anger, which will causes Christians to post a question like "Who here knows they're not going to hell and Atheists are?!" and then it just continues in one big cycle.
I wish the cycle would stop, just accept what others believe and leave them alone.
