Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

How long has the situation been going on? Since the behavior has started, have you taken her to the vet to be checked out? The first thing is you need to find out if she's peeing all over the place because of health reasons. If she's got stones or other similar problems, she'll be peeing outside of the litterbox because of pain or because she can't hold it. Those situations can be life threatening, and should be ruled out by a vet.

Once you have it confirmed that your cat is indeed healthy, it's a behavioral issue. That's a little harder to pin down the reasons why she's doing it and correcting it. When did she start peeing outside the box? Where does she prefer to pee? Do you have other pets? It could be an emotional thing, she could be marking territory. She could have issues with disliking her current litterbox situation. How mahy cats do you have? How clean is her litterpan?

Be sure your cat has a clean litter box and available when needed. Most cats that I've had would always use their box unless they couldn't get to it. My niece had a cat whose litter box was sometimes not clean or the door to where she went was closed and she would pee on the sofa, the chairs, in her bed or anywhere that was once clean but now had her smell. Until it was all cleaned and had her own clean spot, she did that.

first of all, what does your litter box look like ??? If it needs to be scooped out or if you need to change it entirely she won't use it ( sort of like not wanting to use a dirty bathroom. Or she may need to go to the vet because of a urinary tract infection In general cats don't have issues with the litterbox unless there is some other problem

do you clean her litter box? Cats need their litter box daily. Some cats see that their litter box is full so they "go" somewhere else. I would recomend to get more then 1 litter box. I only had 1 cat but she had 2 litter boxes.(on oposite sides of the house). OHHH their are also cats that like going on carpeting. Do you have carpeting instead of hard floors? If so it could be the reason. My cat loved going on our carpets, so we had to move in a house with hardwood floors.

Well i hope i helped! : )

Do not lock her in a room ^^^ idiots.(thats cruel)

Trian her and teach her not to do that. Maybe take it outside and try to teach it to go outside to do her business. Or teach her to use a cat litter box. Everythime she use it , give it a cat nip. So she'll know if she'll use it , she'll get a treat. Hope everything works out for you.

Make sure you keep the litter box very clean, they hate to have to dig around for a spot to go.

I'd also take her to the vet, she might have a medical problem.

she could have a urinary track infection. also make sure
you feed her canned cat food, not the dry stuff. the dry stuff
doesn't dissolve well and creates crystals, causing the urinary
track infection.
