People who are not in the USA legally need to get legal.
If they want to be here, they need to apply as all others do. Proper visas and the like. If they go over their stays for a visa, back home they go to reapply.
If they are here to work only and don't want citizenship, they need or their sponsoring employer needs to post a bond or provide insurance so those workers do not put an unfair burden/use tax dollars to take care of the migrant workers.
There is absolutely no reason for American taxpayers to provide health care, education or any other social service to an alien who is here to work only. Neither should the taxpayers support non working children or spouses. Educating the children of other language speakers is a horrific drain on our education system and may well be the reason American children are no longer rating as highly as once was the case. The one exception is in the event of a life threatening situation. People should be saved/stabalized and returned to their homeland. Or to someone who will pay and care for them (employer or sponsor)
Those that wish to be in the country legally have a means currently to enter and become citizens or be here as students. Any violation of immigration law should end the possibity of citizenship for anyone.

Who determines what answers are reasonable or extremist. The US government should stop all illegals from getting into the US by all means available.
Those who are here illegally should be sent back to their homelands.
If the borders are properly controlled, the problem of illegals will eventually go away. Some illegals will return home, some will try to get legal, some will die off.

In NumbersUSA, we are pushing for attrition by enforcement. In other words, If illegals can't get work, get benefits, or anything else, they will buy their own tickets home, and because there is nothing here to benefit illegal aliens, there will be no reason for more of them to come.

we need stricter laws. the law should state that you need to be able to speak the language fluently, stay on the right side of the law, keep a job, pay taxes. if you drop the ball, deportation. it's really simple but we have too many spineless bleeding heart liberals that won't allow this to happen.
