Hinduism does not have a founder form where the religion started. It was the way of life of the people belonging to the Indian subcontinent.

The Rigveda a important work related to hinduism also considered the most ancient text relating to any religion is dated back to 1500 BCE and the there is no proof that it was actually created at that precise time or is much older.

Reading Bhagavad gita should help you understand what Hinduism stands for.

"The Hindu tradition has no founder figure and cannot date its origin to a particular year or century. It is generally believed that its beginnings lie in the ancient indigenous culture of India and of the Indo-European people. It is a matter of scholarly and politicial controversy whether the Indo-European people were the indigenous inhabitants of India or whether they migrated from outside. The stages of early Hindu history are marked not by remarkable personalities and great proselytizing movements, but rather by the composition of philosophically sophisticated, edifying, or entertaining texts that were transmitted orally and through the generations primarily by means of the performing arts."
