will I guess there is this boy name zack....I think that he is really cute,But I want to get with him...It does seem like he kinda likes me but what I like most about him is that he simles alot when I talk to him and he stares at me alot when we talk .....So anyways I guess homcoming is coming up and I was messing with him and was saying that I thought that he was gonna ask me to homecoming....so I guess he did ask me to go but he didn't seem serious about it when he asked me....was he just playing around and do you think that I should keep talking to this boy and get with him or should I just move on?

why not? i would keep trying to get with him if i really liked a guy. just later on ask him like "hey were still on for homecoming right?" and then if he keeps trying to kid around or you think he might be kidding just be like "well seriously are you going with me? cause it seems like ur always joking" or something like that. if he says no then atleast you know to look for someone else!

he likes you! he is nervous. he was prepared to be rejected or to hear you had already agreed to go with someone else.
do NOT put out for this guy, though, until the relationship is monogamous and serious and he takes a little more of the labor in terms of initiating contact, things to do, etc.
