it definitely does, with air pollution, violence, and stress, it gets to you pretty bad as compared to the suburbs.

i would say so because the only way to get around is to use a car (freeways, less exercise), unlike the city we can walk. It doesn't mean living in the city or nonurban area is better.

no, apparently, living in a urban area actually lengthens your life span, since you don't hop in the car and drive to the corner store., but rather walk more places.

I think downtown Beruit is a lot tougher on your health than out in the rural areas.

There are a lot more stresses in urban areas. Traffic, crime, noise and air pollution...it's making me cough just thinking about it...cough cough cough...LOL
