To all the Christians out there, This is a shout out! We as True followers of Jesus Christ need to exemplify his example! Jesus would not be calling people who do not beleive the same as us stupid, dumb, morons, ect. How do you ever expect someone to come to the saving knowelge of Jesus when you are doing the exact opposite of what he commanded!
WE don't have to agree with what they are saying but whenever people use language that directly conflicts with what Jesus tought they are being hypocrites and causing more harm to the gospel than good. If the defense is well they do it to us... they don't have an example to follow like we do. Be like Jesus folks and maybe more people can see the truth on this site

an hypocrite is a thespian(actor/actress) proclaiming one thing but in behavior doing the opposite................i agree with you totally
we are setting a bad example of christ to answer questions so foolishly.

I happen to be a Wiccan. Even though I do not consider myself Christian, I find nothing in my life that Jesus would not be proud of. I live by the Golden rule, and I don't break any the 10 commandments. Often I find my behavior more Christian than some that portend to be Christian.

I grew up a Catholic, but as you pointed out, I felt like a hypocrite because I did, (and do) believe that there is more than one right way. I believe we'd all be better of if we recognized out simialrities and learned to live with our differences.

In short, lets all use kinder words.

That is what I have been doing exactly as a "true follower" of Christ. However, saying some are "hypocrites" is doing the same thing. Try not use words like that, I dont think Jesus would do that either, but you do make a good point.
Lets pray for all who do not know how to communicate love and understanding no mattter what they believe for Jesus says to love thy enemy. Most that do say names have their minds made up already. the best we cand o as christians is to PRAY for them and love them anyways.
God Bless you all--

Good call, but I still think you will not convert anyone. Most people have their minds made up on this site. The people who actually ask real question go unnoticed for the most part.

Bravo! Please don't think that non-Christians do not have wonderful examples to follow, though. Even though I think Jesus/Yeshua is/was absolutely awesome, I am a non-Christian. However, this does not mean that I haven't had many wonderful people in my life who have taught me that there is wisdom in what Jesus/Yeshua preached. So, please don't think that all non-Christians resort to immature tactics! Our parents and heros do a good job of instilling values in us, as well, and we do have our own good examples.

You are so right! but, we as humans find it hard not to call someone an idiot or moron. God please forgive our behavior. We do need to set an example of Christ. Thank you for teaching me the err of my ways. Just a couple of days ago, I answer a question and said Not only are you stupid but, your retarded. I am ashamed. Thanks sis, I will definitely try harder.

How very right you are. I've made a vow not to be mean to people who say stupid, hateful things. They should be pitied for the miserable lives they must lead.
