What is truth ?
The question was asked of Jesus Christ at his trial..and his answer...silence.
You see you are closer to The Truth in silence than by telling of Truth...for truth is endless ...
So what is the dark side of truth...how does truth lie ?
There are several ways...few of which are in your books....I call them anti-truths, but again the question how does truth lie ?

For example....
Years ago I encountered a model for child abuse based on the model, "men who abuse, women and children victims'...
This is an anti-truth, it is true, that is the model is somewhat correct, but it is a polarized truth....an anti-truth...
The correct model should have been:
Child abuse = Some men, some women and some children who abuse children, including children who abuse themselves.
Truth can lie...what other types are there ....?

Taking everything you said as a whole, truth lies because if you tell "the truth", but you can't tell "the whole truth", maybe because it is too big to understand, it "is endless" as you say, then the truth you did tell is only part of the whole truth, and so is incomplete, and in some sense, a lie

Why is it that others only see what they want in someone's thoughts and cannot accept opinion or even questions for what they are without criticizing...perhaps silence was a statement in itself.

Well you can lie and it could still be the truth - but that happenes without your knwolage.... Jesus - Hmm.. Fairy tales in the Bible .... Should not believe... Jesus was a good man - Bible has screwed him !
