Just in an emergency, I mean, what harm can it do? Jesus broke the sabbath and said the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath, coulnd't we apply the same logic to this? I don't want to go to hell for desecrating a holy book, can someone help?

How would you feel if someone said this about the US flag?
Quite frankly, I wouldn't care. It's only a book, but newspaper is more effective and, in many cases, more appropriate.

Use your fingers and them wash them off. This way you will not be desecrating the holy book and you can still read it.
Jesus can do what ever he wants, I can't think of anyone else who would die for the whole worlds sin. And using pages to wipe your *** is not an excuse.

As you well know the Bible is a book and Jesus is the Word. If you really want to use the bible as toilet paper i think it would be ok as it isn't the unforgivable sin. Although it may mean you are slightly strange hmnnnmmm

1st of all why is there a holy book in the bathroom. 2nd, THEN TAKE A SHOWER IF THERES NO PAPER! 3rd, never use any Holy Book paper to wipe.

As long as you haven't eaten any pork or anything else non-kosher, I'm sure Jehovah wouldn't mind too much. Oh, and don't do it at the pulpit on Sunday morning no matter how much you've had to drink. TRUST ME!

LOL Thanks for the idea Always wondered what to do with that free bible some local church pushed through my door to celebrate millennium year. Have to hunt it out, save me buying bog roll for a bit
