Don't you think you should wait to worry about that until after Vista is finally released? The last I heard, that official release is still months away. We don't even know at this point if it will be sold in a upgrade version - the changes are so many, even XP users may have to purchase the full version (the XP upgrade may simply refer to a reduced price for the full version).
By the way, I've seen Vista and was not at all impressed. The utter absense of menus (file, edit, view, etc), replaced by dozens and dozens of new buttons & pop-up menus, was the most shocking aspect. In my opinion, it is many times more difficult to use.

Full Version is for Computer with no operating system on there Hard Drive.
Upgrade is for the one who running windows and want the Vista..

The only thing is make sure you system will handle it....
Vista is out....

Buy the upgrade, but if your system is not Vista Capable, you may need to buy the full version.
If your system is Vista Capable, save the money and buy the upgrade.

better to wait for vista, and better to get the full version, just in case if you have to re-format your HD, you will have to re-install XP and then upgrade with Vista.

why dont you wait till it is out for a year and see what the people have to say about it, maybe microsofts Vista is going to be a huge flop, It'll jam the net anyways cuz it requires 3x the broadband.

from what i'm hearing from other technophiles sticking with XP maybe better in terms of there is not much relevant difference and the demands of vista are a little out of focus.
