yes all the above answers contain good advice.
antidepressants aren't the only answer though as it may be that something is making you feel the way you do and it would be best to address that.
keep yourself busy, eat a good diet with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, try to hang out with friends and do things you enjoy and exercise is very good for combating stress and depression. i find that football and swimming are great for exercise, and also yoga and tai chi are very good for controlling stress and making you feel well.
if you feel lethargic it may well be that something in your lifestle is at the root of the problem.
if there is more to it than that, then doctors/ counselling/ antipdeppressants are probably the best course of action.
nothing is more depressing than depression. i hope you feel better soon.

This is depression, plain and simple and nothing to be ashamed of. You need medication to boost your seritonin level. There is no reason not to feel good, if all things physical can be ruled out. First, see your physician for a total checkup and tell him how you feel. He will probably recommend a psychologist or he may prescribe something himself. I take half of the smallest dose of Paxil available. Sometimes I think it's worthless because it's such a small amout and I go off of it. Within a few days, I feel edgy and sad too. Sometimes our bodies need a little help. Just be sure whatever you take is safe and that you use it the way it is prescribed. hope you are smiling again soon!

The quick answer is to take an anti-depressant. But I take B-12. It's a vitamin. Also, if you start exercising you will feel better as well. After doing these things for about 2 weeks you should see a dramatic difference.

I think you may have depression, my friend. how long has this been going on? if it's been going on for a while, u might have clinical depression. clinical depression is very serious and u must treat it at once. i know where you're coming from. it's very hard to function when u feel like this, and it takes many things away from you, like the things u once enjoyed. many people on here say to excersise, but take it from me, excersizing does not help. it's a temporary 'happy' feeling that doesn't last. if i were you, i'd talk with my doctor. i know it's hard, when i talked to my doctor i didn't know what to say. but, u can do it....

Have you tried an antidepressant?? Maybe you should see a psychologist. I feel the same way alot of the time and I have found that if I stay busy, I feel better. Also, exercising is great too.
I hope you feel better soon.
