When I was in high school I wanted to attend a public school (I went to a private school). No matter what I said, my parents never changed their minds and I ended up staying at the private school. I stuck it out, made friends, joined clubs, etc.

Anyway, now that I'm an adult, I realize what a valuable education I did receive. I'm glad my parents never listened to me! I ended up going to college and realizing that many of the college kids didn't known important things and/or didn't have many of the same skills and knowledge I had already aquired.

My younger sister WAS able to talk my parents out of sending her to the private school and guess what? She didn't graduate from college, dropped out of college, got preggers and isn't doing as well as I am. Now, I know I can't attribute her educational failure to the public school...but stick it out.

Private school, especially high school, is a LOT better than public school.

Learning to use punctuation and proper grammar would be a good start. It looks like you need the extra attention I imagine you are getting at that private school. If you were to pay more attention to learning than your social life, you might have a better chance at going to the public school.

You may think your mother is wrong right now but when you get older you will thank her for forcing you to stick with your education at this school. More colleges will accept you and this will lead to more choices later. Your mother is doing you a favor and trying to secure you a great future....don't be so hard on her she must love you a lot.
