black is not a color. it is considered to be all colors. you can theoretically make black by mixing all primary colors, which is red, yellow, & blue. however, it is not going to be the black you are used to. by adding the slightest bit more of each color, it will appear more that color. so, you cant just make black the way you buy "black" at the store, which is just the same as trying to make "brown." however, in painting, nothing should look purely "black" like out of the bottle.

What Makes Black

if you mean in general, black is the absorption of all colors.
If you mean in painting there are many different kinds of black. You can buy different blacks from different tubes. Or you can do a variety of color combinations to make black, you can have a brown black, or a purple black, blue black. Theres no real way to make a "pure" black.

ACTUALLY, black isn't even a color. Black is the absence of light. All prime colors mixed together make white.

I've been using sap green, pthalo blue, burnt sienna, and alizaron (or something like that) red. I'm using oils, but it should still work for other types of paint, too (color theory doesn't change).
Note: opposites make brown or gray.

If you are using paints, I believe (at least in oils) it is dark green and red that make black. I think that would go for all kinds of paint. Good luck!!

Exactly why is everyone with blond, why can't you just have jet black curly hair with some blonde or blonde tresses with some jet black hair. Right now you don't have to choose.

if you have blonde hair this will naturally get bleached by the actual sun in the summer. There has been this guy in my class who had golden blonde hair that was a medium brown near the bottom. When he came back to university after summer vacation, it was practically platinum blonde!
