Actually everything has sound except for the actual feature presentation. This is the third copy of the video I have tried to play and its the same problem. I live in the Seattle area and the videos are from Hollywood Video. One branch location tried the video on their DVD player and it was the same problem. My player is a COBY DVD-224 progressive scan with Dolby Digital sound.

After FOUR copies with no sound, I googled to find out if anyone else had rented this movie and gotten NO SOUND on the feature presentation only. That's how I found your recent post! I got THREE copies from Netflix without sound...finally told them to stop sending replacements. Then, I just rented one from Blockbuster with the same problem. I tried one of the copies on three DVD players including a new one. My DVD player is less than a year old and very high end. What was MOST interesting is that the little "ThinkFilm" intro to the feature presentation DOES have sound--but the film doesn't. There must be some problem with ALL of them!
