No, it will be fine. Don't re-cork it & certainly do not put it in the fridge as previously suggested.
You don't want any flies or anything to land in it but just cover the bottle lightly. I've drunk wine up to a week after opening it.
Good luck :-)

No, it will not taste bad, but it will have oxidized somewhat. That means that the wine will have "aged" a little. You will notice a taste in flavor intensity. Try this to get an idea of what I'm speaking of: When you first open the bottle, pour a little taste in a glass, swirl, sniff, and taste. Make mental notes of what it tasted like. Then let it breathe for about 30 minutes prior to serving. Taste it again and you will notice that it has changed, more flavors have been released, the aroma is less alcoholic, and the wine has softened. Age will soften a corked wine because of the slow process of oxygen affecting it via the cork.

No, popular restaurant chains discard their wine after it has been open for 3 days. Even then they are throwing away perfectly good wine. Though I wouldn't drink it after 5 days. A good investment would be a wine bottle air remover. It allows you to pump the air out and cork it with a rubber cork. It is the air that makes wine "go bad". Trendy wine bars have a unique apparatus that they connect a wine bottle to and it pumps wine out while pumping nitrogen in. So the wine never touches air until a glass is poured. Neat invention, but for the average home wine drinker, an air pump with rubber stopper would serve your purposes well. Any grocery store that sells wine should have them, if you can't find one, I would check on eBay.

As long as it is the next day and you reseal it well. Use a wine stopper or the original cork and you'll be fine.
