I'm a pretty big world of warcraft player, strangely enough I'm actually a major in computer programming...will be comp sci as soon as I get into a university...anyway...I'm starting to see a lot of these questions on here why do men chose video games over women? Personally, I'd like to ask the same question to others who do the same thing, I have my own reasons why as well.
1)Cheaper than women
2)If I get tired or frustrated, I can shut it off
3)I can ignore anyone I don’t want to talk to
4)New stuff is always added
5)Can help me get a job
6)Doesn't really give me any RL problems like women tend to do
7)New instances are actually a challenge
8)One again, cheaper than women...15 bucks a month is a lot cheaper than a 2000 dollar ring, and 50% of your assets...
So...I ask, what are the reasons other feel that Video games such as World Of Warcraft > Women (actually just relationships in general).
Been 4 years since I last had a g/f on the 25th of this month

Actually...if you think games get you no where...check out the list of jobs on blizzards frequently updated site! Women seem to SPEND money rather than make it for me, could just be my past one though. When was the last time peoples b/f or g/f got them a really good high paying job because of the experence they ALREADY had?

Seems like you've been soured on relationships. Not all are bad. If you are still a virgin, then you haven't fully comprehended that aspect of women. It isn't a bad thing that you are still a virgin. Have you considered counselling to get over your anger issues?
Seeing, feeling, experiencing the passion, desire, longing of a (good) woman is not something one can describe in words. Seeing the fire in her eyes for you will far surpass any cheap thrill you'll receive from the fantasy world of video games.

This is, perhaps, the reason why you have not had a girlfriend in so long. Don't use video games as your escape because you are bitter about love.Being in love and having a companion is so much more rewarding then getting to the next level of World of Warcraft or any other game. While it is good that you have your eye set on a good job and you don't let girlfriends get in the way of your career, I think your way of life is lonely ( which you can be the judge of that) and unhealthy. Why not turn your computer off once in a while and try to have some fun. Not all women are after your money ( why do so many men think that?) so stop using that as your excuse to stay away from women. Ask yourself this (and be honest): Am I happy with my way of life? Everyone needs to be loved and I think if you really think about it you'll realize that your computer may be fun, addictive, and offers a promising career but is not the same as really living life. How do you expect to find someone- or any type of happiness for that matter if you are coupped up in a room all day away from the real world? Im not saying that you should give up your games and computer, just dont be so into it that you miss out on life.Realize that it is a hobby, not a way of life. Goodluck.

FINALLY
Someone who plays WoW can actually spell.
Biggest reason: WoW will never ask you a decient question. It will never give you that warm, fuzzy feeling, when you are holding them.
WoW doesn't keep you warm at night.
You can't introduce WoW to your family. (you can, but it won't become part of the family
You can't play with WoW when the power goes out.
No, offense, but women, can be FREE
You just gotta find the smart ones. Besides, ring? thats a ways away. (And in 11 years of WoW, you'll be able to pay for a ring)
Women: The Ultimate video game. They even come equipped with Plug and Play compatible hardware.

Personally I would prefer a girl over a game anyday, b/c even with all the "adventures" a girlfriend can give you, you can't help but always love them! Whereas a game eventually gets boring, and then your looking for something new to do.

WoW.............. I love WoW, but it blows me away when "healthy adults" choose mmorpgs over having real meaningful relationships.. You are the reason that girls are leery of gamer guys.. You really ought to seek some kind of therapy, or hell, even a prostitute might do you well! sounds like you might need to get laid, and have your computer broken with a baseball bat by a compassionate friend.. not all girls are the way you described me, I tell my boyfrind to never buy me stuff and when he doesn't feel like talking I don't tell him that he has to talk to me so everything is about him never me I'm one of those people who put everyone first and so my boyfriend comes first before I do.

video game srae a waste of time man... grow up!! video games will get you no where!!! women will, and if you treat them right you wont get frustrared and wat to "turn them off"
