Have looked in various Mexican slang online dictionaries and can't find anything. I'm looking for a word that a young guy would address his close female friend with, similiar to saying in English: Hey Sweetie, or Are you alright honey?

The most common term that might apply is "mi hija" or "mi hijo".......that is about as close......it could be several other ways....it is all in the delivery and situation....I call my son "papi" for "sweetie" and I call my little girl....."mamachita".....if you used it and make them feel it...whatever the term will work
